You Were Made For War
You were made for Health, Healing, Blessing… & War. There was a war over your soul before you were aware of it- a war over your body, your choices, your Life, your power, your accomplishments, your Connection with your Self, God and Others.
We cannot have Peace without a fight. If you want “Tranquility” you will just have to float downstream in whatever water the devil provides. But if you want Peace, you will have to fight- maybe even give your Life For it. Peace doesn’t come without the sacrifice of War. War came to Adam and Eve in the Garden- but they didn’t see it coming. They were told to hold the ground- “take dominion of every living thing.” They knew God had an enemy and that he was present on the earth, along with legions of his companions who had TRIED TO OVERTHROW HEAVEN with him. But they let the enemy WALK INTO THEIR GARDEN and had CONVERSATION with him instead of kicking him out… And everything they had was taken- the ground they stood on, relationship with one another, relationship with God… and their very lives… taken.
Perhaps fighting offends your entitled sense of propriety? Cults are happy to flatter you with lukewarm, innocuous aspirations. They “righteously” offer us the lazy man’s Utopia where fighting is for the uncouth and Unfaithful. Just “Believe” and they’ll paint you the story of a “no conflict zone” that could and SHOULD be yours… if only you focus inwardly on your navel and just BE the right person. They assure you that THIS is how you will create your best life, find the right spouse and encounter success on all fronts. “No!” This is how the enemy will sweep your best assets!
Don’t be fooled! In the Garden there was Blessing, Abundance, Peace … & War. Realize you are not here for Comfort only. Accept the War and learn how to win. Jesus declared that on Peter he would build his church “…and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Hell is HERE on this earth, and it’s gates cannot withstand real christianity ENGAGING in the war, winning battles and securing Victories.
