The State Of The Church
The state of the Church can easily be understood by the Communion it takes. Communion began as a reminder of Jesus, the “bread of Life” – made from fresh ground whole grains with substance and nourishment- not leavened (not yeasted or raised), symbolizing both purity from sin (which, like yeast, spreads easily and leavens the whole lump) and pressure from persecution with no time or leeway to let it sit. Wine was it’s counterpart and compliment- antiseptic, astringent, cleansing, relaxing and fun! (FUN? Is that an “anti-christian” value?) Jesus would often eat and drink with his friends and others (even drinking from the same cup- after all, wine does kill pathogens and keeps people from getting sick…) Of course, the Pharisees criticized him continually for being a “glutton and a wine-bibber” …while they were straight, non-alcoholic, demonic criminals like their father, the devil (as Jesus called them) fleecing God’s people and perverting the gospel.
White Bread & Grape Juice
At some point, the Church traded the substance for White Bread & Grape Juice. White bread was then industrially mass produced and nobody knew the difference between life-giving nutrients and empty calories any more- nor did they care. The wafer was a cheap, efficient, semi-representative “picture” of Jesus (…which picture?) Wine was FAR TOO CONTROVERSIAL and the devil was bound to take issue with it (as he had in Jesus’ time) so the doctrine of ‘fresh grape juice’ rather than fermented/ alcoholic wine was aggressively pushed against all common sense and reason (since of course they had ample refrigeration in Jesus day??? …and freshly pressed grapes were sure to stay fresh for… days? without fermenting?) By the time Prohibition came around, everybody knew that the worst thing was intoxication which good Protestants shouldn’t touch with a 10′ pole – EVEN THOUGH JESUS COMMANDED IT OFTEN IN REMEMBRANCE OF HIM? Well, forget Jesus- what did HE know? We learned that alcoholism is a genetic disease (not a habit) and it should be avoided religiously, not taken in moderation… (as we’re told to handle ALL things.) It would be pure cruelty to have the substance present in a …gasp, CHURCH, while the poor sinners were trying desperately to be freed from their vices! It’s pretty much intentional sabotage to have wine at a Christian wedding… as Jesus did. LISTEN people, we have evolved! He just didn’t KNOW way back then. I’m sure with a little more education, he’d be telling a different story… as we are today!
Styrofoam Wafer & High Fructose Corn Syrup
Oh, how times have changed! Industry continued, poisons were introduced into staple crops, “gluten intolerance” followed, and we now have a strange, sterilized Styrofoam substance vacuum sealed on top of a plastic cup. Perhaps it still has a vague connection with grains? It’s actually spongy (even though it wasn’t supposed to have leaven…) flavorless, low salt, LGBTQAI+ kosher and extremely difficult to identify. Just shut up and chew… and chew… and… Then peel off the aluminum separator and swig the high fructose corn syrup with Red #3 or #40 or whatever gives drinks that bright, cherry-red color …even though the FDA has been aware (for decades) of multiple studies showing it can cause cancer in animals. Just “pray” dear Christian friends, because the grace of God changes Red dye #3 into bio-nutrients right in your stomach… if only you are that gullible… I mean- if only you BELIEVE!
WAKE UP CALL
Really people! Have we not HAD a WAKE UP CALL?! And these are the IDIOTS you are letting LEAD you? 2 kinds of people are drawn to sheep my dear friends- Shepherds and WOLVES.
Historically, God chose a people to make a Church out of in the wilderness. He led them, gave them rules, set up a system and handed it over. Ultimately, he was creating a nation and a people through whom, He would send His Son to pay for the sin of the world and BY WHOM… He would be murdered. Let that sink in. God knew how the whole system would work- and the Church was the entity that HE created… to murder Himself. Now THAT’S a strange twist of plan.
But surely today’s Protestant Church is nothing like that (… we already know the Catholics are f**d up, right?) But I thought that WE were His REAL Church- spreading the “gospel,” doing good, seeking God’s will…? Now I see that the Protestant Church would do EXACTLY the same to Jesus if he showed up today. In fact- they already have. They have murdered His gospel, put His people in bondage, taught them Communistic Values instead of godly ones, recruited them as Lifetime Subscribers (for “Eternal Benefits”) …in order to collect their Assets. Are we ‘saved’? FROM what, TO what, BY whom and FOR what? Come ON people- ASK some QUESTIONS!!!
How does the last Church- the one in Revelation, end up lukewarm? And what can we DO?
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Revelation 3:14-22.
